About The League

Drive Line League

Buckle up, because the Drive Line League isn’t your average fantasy football snooze-fest.

Picture this: a bunch of professional truck drivers who spend their weeks hauling freight across America, then fire up their phones, ipads and laptops on Sunday to absolutely destroy each other in the ultimate gridiron showdown. We’re talking big trucks, bigger smack talk, and a multi-tiered league where every single team — from the top dogs to the underdogs — has something real to fight for all season long. No more “my season’s over in Week 6” vibes. Here, the road never ends, the competition stays diesel-hot, and the community is tighter than a load strap on a windy mountain pass.

Welcome to the Drive Line Leaguefantasy football built by truckers, for truckers. Where the open road meets the fantasy gridiron, and every mile logged turns into bragging rights that last all the way to the championship.

Eric “Drive Line”

Hi, I’m Eric — better known as Drive Line on YouTube.

I’ve been behind the wheel for years, racking up over one million accident-free miles while owning and operating a small fleet of trucks that pull refrigerated freight for Prime Inc. When I’m not chasing down loads or dragging trailers, I’m an unapologetic ’80s nerd (think neon, synth beats, and classic arcade cabinets) and a die-hard Chicago Bears fan who still believes in the power of the 46 defense and a good old-fashioned “Da Bears” chant.

Fantasy football has always become a good mental escape from the grind — the perfect way to stay connected with friends while living life on the road. In late 2025 I and a few others decided it was time to build something bigger than just a casual league. I wanted a space where drivers like me could network, socialize, vent about truck stops, celebrate epic runs, and compete in a league that actually felt like us.

How the Drive Line League Was Born

It started simple. Late nights in truck stops, group chats blowing up with trade offers, and a core group of friends who shared the same love for NFL Sundays. We launched our first fantasy football league in 2025 with one goal: take our shared passion for football and turn it into a real community.

It wasn’t all smooth sailing (what good trucking story ever is?). We had our ups, our downs, a few drama sessions, and plenty of “I can’t believe I started the wrong guy again” moments. But through every challenge we saw the same thing: huge potential. There were many of drivers out there just like us — guys and gals who love the game, love the road, and needed a better way to connect.

That’s when everything changed.

I became obsessed with the hit docuseries Welcome to Wrexham and the beautiful chaos of English soccer’s promotion and relegation system. The idea hit me like a fresh set of tires on dry pavement: Why can’t fantasy football work the same way? Why should only the top playoff teams have stakes while everyone else is just playing out the string?

So we rebuilt the entire league from the ground up.

Enter the multi-tier Drive Line League.

We now run a full ecosystem of divisions where teams are promoted and relegated at the end of every season based on performance. Nail your draft, dominate your schedule, and climb the ranks. Struggle through a rough year? You drop down and battle in a lower tier where the competition is just as fierce and the glory of climbing back up is even sweeter. Every single owner — whether you’re fighting for the championship or fighting to avoid relegation — has skin in the game until the final whistle.

The result? A league that feels alive from Week 1 all the way through the Super Bowl. A place where rivalries are born, friendships are forged at 3 a.m. in a Flying J parking lot, and every trash-talking text thread actually matters. We’ve built a platform that gives truck drivers across the country a real home — a spot to compete, connect, laugh, and haul some serious fantasy glory.

This is more than just fantasy football.

This is the Drive Line League — where the road never stops, the games never end, and every driver has a seat at the table (or in the captain’s chair).
